LLPC

Bio:

I am a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC), with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University and a BA in Communication Studies from Western Michigan University. I have experience working with diverse populations across a range of mental health concerns. This includes anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, relationship difficulties, and grief and loss. I adopt a holistic, strengths-based, person-centered approach to therapy, and believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Drawing from Carl Rogers' belief in the healing power of a safe, nonjudgmental space, I support clients in finding their own path toward growth. As Viktor Frankl wisely said, ‘When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.’

Fun Fact:

I enjoy playing hockey, listening to music, and spending time with my family. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
